Pinot Noir 2010 will be a celebration of great wine, great food and superb entertainment wrapped around a four-day conference focused on the art of growing and making great Pinot Noir.

Wellington is not only New Zealand’s capital city, it’s also renowned as the culture and events capital of the country – a fitting location for Pinot Noir 2010.  Set on the edge of a stunning harbor and surrounded by rolling hills, it's a city waiting to be explored.  Wellington has an intriguing selection of entertainment opportunities including theater, live music, museums and galleries – all within easy walking distance of Wellington hotels and the TSB Bank Arena where Pinot Noir 2010 will be held.

To celebrate the Hong Kong Food and Wine Year, Cobblestone took part in the Hong Kong Tourism Board’s first annual Wine Carnival at the West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade. Attended by an astonishing 70,000 people, this year’s festival exceeded everyone’s expectations. Party hours were extended each night, allowing guests to leisurely explore food samplings, wine tasting and live entertainment. Cobblestone was happy to make so many new friends and find such a great appreciation for our fine California Cabernet and  Chardonnay in Hong Kong.  Thank you to our Hong Kong distributor Prime Cellar for making Cobblestone's introduction to Hong Kong so much fun.

A Midsummer Eve of Wine & Arts

Cobblestone will be present at the 11th annual  V Foundation Wine Celebration , a world class wine event and auction benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Set in Napa Valley, the heart of California Wine Country, this special event brings together people from the technology, sports entertainment, and winemaking worlds to raise money for the fight against cancer.

Dedicated to giving back to the generous Napa Valley and surrounding communities that have so enthusiastically embraced it, the Wine Celebration has funded 34 promising research programs at medical and research facilities including Napa's Queen of the Valley Hospital, Stanford, and UC San Francisco. Founded by Julie and Andrew Constantin in 1999, the V Wine Celebration has grown from its humble beginnings to a world-class wine event. Guided by a dedicated volunteer board, the two-day fundraiser has raised over $30 million since that first event in 1999.

Friday festivities include intimate winemaker dinners at several of Napa Valley's premier properties. Saturday offers guests a variety of daytime activities, including golf, private vineyard tours and wine tastings, and private picnics. The main event takes place Saturday evening, where guests enjoy a gourmet meal and wine pairings, live entertainment, and silent and live auctions. Both evenings are followed by lively "After Hours" parties.

Sold out with over 1,000 in attendance, East LA Meets Napa was able to raise over $150,000 to help AltaMed's efforts to provide quality
healthcare for under-served children and families in Southern California.

East LA Meets Napa received great reviews from both
participants and media that attended, and the
crowd stayed well past 10 PM as the music and dancing continued.

Once again Cobblestone joined the fun on the Universal Studios Backlot with some  of today’s most prominent chefs  for a culinary celebration at the American Wine & Food Festival. 

Since its inception in 1982, the Puck-Lazaroff Charitable Foundation has supported the American Wine & Food Festival, raising more than $14 million for the Los Angeles Chapter of Meals On Wheels. This organization serves thousands of meals each day to Los Angeles’ homebound, senior and disabled citizens.

Cobblestone sponsored the opening gala of the Broad Stage at Santa Monica College. The amazing Barbara Cook performed selections from her considerable songbook. Luminaries included Academy Award winner and Broad Stage chairman Dustin Hoffman. Cobblestone Chardonnay accompanied the pre-performance dinner and after party.
