This inaugural release of the Cobblestone Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the exceptional 2001 vintage.

Our 25-acre mountain vineyard, nestled high in the Atlas Peak appellation of Napa Valley, has delivered remarkable fruit for this intense wine of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Easily approachable now as a young and proud newcomer in the big, bold Napa Cabernet world, the wine also shows balanced acidity and chewy tannins that indicate strong aging potential.

Our inaugural release Cabernet from the 2001 vintage quickly landed Cobblestone in the company of Napa Valley’s finest wines, picking up 92 points from Wine Spectator. This follow-up vintage displays exceptional structure and complexity, indicating that as our young vineyard continues to mature, the wine we produce from it will follow suit.

The 2002 vintage is comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes harvested entirely from our 25-acre mountain vineyard nestled high in the Atlas Peak appellation of Napa Valley.

Our Chardonnay is created entirely of the magnificent fruit from our cobblestone-laden family vineyard in the middle of Monterey County.

This elegant 2003 vintage was crafted with the philosophy of not interfering with the true characteristics of the varietal. Our intention was to produce a Chardonnay with bright fruit and balanced character without being overwhelmed by oak.

The result is a crisp, and refined wine, reminiscent of the cool-climate Chardonnays of Northern Burgundy.

Our most intense vintage yet. While the 2003 is again primarily a blend of our two Cabernet Sauvignon clones, the wine’s complexity is enhanced by a debut splash of our vineyard’s second Bordeaux varietal, Cabernet Franc.

The “Cobblestone Vineyard Reserve” represents the best of the best from our family vineyard on Napa Valley’s Atlas Peak. The 2003 vintage marks the inaugural release of this very limited bottling.

As the wine matured, we set aside what we considered the finest barrels of each of our two Cabernet Sauvignon clones. From this superior juice we then determined which percentage blend would possess the best structure and showcase the exceptional characteristics of the vintage.

With firm fruit and oak tannins, this wine shows very strong aging potential and can easily be cellared for 10+ years. Of course if you are a fan of huge Napa Cabernet, there’s no harm in enjoying a few bottles while you wait.

Our philosophy at Cobblestone is to craft wine without interfering with the true characteristics of a varietal. With the 2004 vintage, our Chardonnay once again reflects this belief. Reminiscent of the cool-climate Chardonnays of Northern Burgundy, this wine is produced in an elegant style which showcases the fruit character. Using a mix of large and small French oak barrels, we have limited the malolactic fermentation to just 30%. While maintaining the Chardonnay’s crisp acidity, this brings a roundness and richness to the wine without an overwhelming presence of oak or butter. The refined style makes for an excellent food pairing wine. Balance is the key.

Cobblestone Chardonnay is made entirely from the fruit of our cobblestone-laden family vineyard in the Arroyo Seco appellation of central Monterey County

As with our previous two releases, the 2005 vintage reflects our philosophy of presenting true varietal characteristics without unnecessary interference. With stainless steel fermentation, French oak aging in a mix of large and small barrels, and very limited malolactic fermentation, the result is the best of both worlds. If you like the idea of crisp Burgundian complexity balanced with the brightness of New World fruit, look no further.

Cobblestone's 2006 Arroyo Seco Chardonnay is made entirely from the fruit of our cobblestone-laden family vineyard in the Arroyo Seco appellation of central Monterey County.

The 2006 vintage marks the debut of our second Chardonnay clone, the French ENTAV 809. At nine percent of the blend, this uncommon clone delivers some bright fruit and complexity, further supporting our Old World, well-balanced style.

Our inaugural Cobblestone Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé: an unpretentious wine made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our family estate in Napa Valley’s Atlas Peak appellation. In fact, this may be the only single-vineyard, Napa Cab Rosé out there!

The juice for this unbelievably delicious wine spent just a few hours on the skins, resulting in a lighter style and vibrant fuchsia color.
